Host and play Lottie animations yourself.

STACK
- lottie-web or dotLottie in the browser, your own storage, a small optimisation step

THE FORMAT
- Lottie is JSON. Nothing about hosting it requires a service
- Store the file, serve it with long cache headers, done

OPTIMISING
- Round coordinates to two decimals and strip unused assets and hidden layers
- Convert to dotLottie, which is the same data zipped, and usually saves 70%

PLAYING IT WELL
- Lazy-load the player; it is not small
- Respect prefers-reduced-motion and show a static frame instead
- Set an explicit width and height so the page does not jump

WHAT YOU STILL NEED
- Someone to make the animation. That is the part a subscription does not solve either

Include the optimisation script, the player setup and the reduced-motion path.
